How to get to the Reiteralm
Getting there couldn't be easier. Coming from Salzburg, the A10 takes you directly to the large, free parking lots at the Reiteralm. This ensures maximum skiing enjoyment in Schladming with the shortest travel time from Salzburg. The entire 4-mountain Schladming-Dachstein ski area can be accessed from the Reiteralm. Whether you choose a 3-hour ticket or a day pass, you will certainly not be bored with the seemingly endless slopes!
Arriving by car
The Reiteralm valley station is located between Gleiming and Pichl, directly on the Ennstal federal highway B 320.
Coming from the west (Salzburg), the Reiteralm is the first entry point to the Schladming-Dachstein ski area and perfect for a varied day of skiing in the heart of Ski amadé. Day skiers from Salzburg particularly appreciate the proximity of the Reiteralm, as the city of Salzburg is only about 70 km away. From the Tauern motorway A10 via the Ennstal junction, it is only 18 km towards Schladming to the Reiteralm car park.
The short journey, free parking, and direct location on the border with the province of Salzburg save you valuable time that would otherwise be wasted on long car journeys and searching for parking. The quick journey home via the A10 makes your day of skiing in Schladming perfect. While others get stuck in traffic through Schladming, you can get to the highway quickly and easily via the B 320!
Coming from the east, you can reach the Reiteralm via Liezen, about 60 km along the Ennstal federal highway.

Parking at the Reiteralm in the Schladming Dachstein ski area
There is free parking available directly at the valley station in Gleiming, which you can use free of charge during your day of skiing. There is also a large, free parking area for buses. This means you can get straight to your car after skiing down the valley.

Services at the valley station: ski rental to après-ski
At the valley station in Gleiming, you will find everything you need for a successful day of skiing: ski rental, ski school, lounge, and restaurants.
At Intersport Gerhardter, you can buy equipment or rent it from the ski rental shop. The integrated Reiteralm ski school offers courses for children and adults.
If you want to recharge your batteries after a day of skiing and before heading home, you can stop off at the Gondlstub'n or Mühlstodl restaurants. The Mühlstodl Reiteralm ski hut also has an après-ski bar where you can party right on the slopes until 10 p.m.
Your physical well-being is also taken care of on the mountain, with various huts offering delicious food for a break on the mountain.
Access to the Schladming ski area via the Silver Jet
Directly at the large parking lot in Gleiming, you will also find the valley station of the gondola, which takes you to the Reiteralm in the Schladming Dachstein ski area in about 5 minutes. The Silver Jet gondola lift can accommodate 8 people and is your direct access to skiing fun. The Silver Jet starts at 7:45 a.m. on weekends, and Monday through Friday, the first ascent starts at 8:15 a.m.
Connection to Fageralm: Family ski area & ski tours
A ski bus will take you directly to Fageralm, where the slopes are perfect for a family ski day in Schladming. Ski tourers are also in the right place at Fageralm, because here you can go ski touring on the slopes and even climb the mountain on full moon ski tours.
